Jayco, Inc. held its annual Dealer Homecoming meeting in San Antonio, Texas last week, with an increase of 15 percent, the highest number in recent years.
"The Jayco Dealer Homecoming meeting is a time-honored tradition that I was pleased to be a part of this year” said Matt Thompson, Jayco Towables President. “As always, it was a great event for Jayco. We heard a lot of positive comments on the products we introduced as well as the event as a whole.”
During the week, dealers were introduced to 12 new floorplans and had a chance to see the completely revamped Jayco Toy Hauler line during the show. The Octane and Octane Super-Lite feature a new radius profile with fiberglass front, upgraded amenities on the interior and five new floorplans. The Seismic features three new interior colors with coordinating countertop colors, a 50-inch TV and a new exterior look including an illuminated Jayco logo. In addition, Jayco introduced the new Seismic Wave. Complete with four floorplans, the Seismic Wave packs a load of features into a competitive price point.
The Jayco Motorhome Group introduced the new 37HJ Seneca floorplan, to the lineup as well as newly redesigned front entertainment center and new residential-style kitchen. The Greyhawk added the 29ME floorplan to its lineup in addition to making the JRide™ Ride and Handling package standard on Greyhawks for model year 2015.
“Jayco’s Dealer Homecoming is a time for Jayco to connect with its dealers and garner valuable feedback on what we’re putting in the market” said Tadd Jenkins, Jayco Motorhome Group President. “The things we learn and the time we have with our dealers during this week proves that it is an important part of our overall selling effort.”
The dealers heard from several key leaders from Jayco throughout the week along with the opportunity to attend a handful of breakout sessions covering various topics from online marketing to lead generation and response.
