Jayco 2013 RV Releases and Enhancements

Here’s our list of releases and enhancements from the 2013 product line. We have plenty of updates that we’re excited to tell you about.

The 2013 Seismic

With Jayco’s 2013 Seismic, we’ve reinvented the toy hauler market. From top-level amenities and designer-inspired interior schemes to the extreme exterior paint package, the Seismic is more unique than anything else on the market.

Jayco Seismic cargo space

“Our goal with the Seismic was to offer a modern feel along with many contemporary conveniences that today’s consumer would appreciate. I feel we’ve accomplished this and more. RV customers who’ve never thought about the flexibility and practicality of a toy hauler should look at the new Seismic” said Paul Gardner, Brand Manager for Jayco’s toy haulers.

The exterior of the Seismic has an eye-catching, fresh design. Jayco offers a standard graphics package or the consumer can choose from three different premier paint packages. The choices don’t stop there. The Seismic also features two mid-profile and five full-profile floorplans. Each unit also has a contemporary feel with a contoured front cap design.

The Seismic has a 102-inch wide body on Jayco’s I-Class cambered structural-steel I-beam frame. It has large, panoramic tinted frameless windows and is constructed with the new Magnum Truss roof system. Also included is the whisper quiet A/C system.

Inside, the Seismic has modern decors with warm wall colors, residential-style furniture and cabinets. The kitchen sports high-end vinyl flooring in the kitchen, toe kick lighting, and high-gloss solid surface kitchen countertops with under mount stainless steel sink. The main bedroom has a deluxe 60-inch by 80-inch mattress, decorative headboard, added air conditioning ducts, 22-inch LCD HDTV and walk-in closet.

With the new 2013 Seismic and its cargo space standards, the options are nearly endless when it comes to what you can haul. It features 7’ 10” hinged spring-assist door/ramp that has a 3,000 lb. capacity and a 93 3/8” wide ramp door opening. The Seismic cargo area also has an anti-slip, non-skid flooring on the ramp door to help you load your toys with ease. Transportation is safe too with compression locks for the ramp door and flush, floor-mounted tie-down rings anchored to the frame, each with 2,500 lb. capacity. The retractable screen wall also comes in handy when you want to relax in the cargo area and enjoy the outdoors without the bugs. And with 81’ – 144’ square feet (dependent upon the floorplan) you have plenty of space to haul your passions.

2013 JAYCO SEISMIC

Going 4-wheeling for the weekend? No problem! The Seismic can handle it. Traveling to a flea market to sell your crafts? It’s perfect for storage and transportation. Looking to kayak down the river? Just put your kayak in the back of the Seismic and hit the road. We could keep going because with the Seismic, you can reinvent your space. What would you haul in your Seismic?

White Hawk Travel Trailer

Introduced at the National RV Trade Show in Louisville, KY, the White Hawk offers everything you expect in a traditional travel trailer but it’s able to be towed by most half-ton trucks and mid-size SUVs.

Ben Johnson, Brand Manager for the White Hawk, said, “Our goal was to offer a travel trailer full of the features and amenities while providing a unit that could be towed by most family vehicles at an affordable price. We wanted to make the entire camping experience more enjoyable for the owner, from the towing to set up to take down.”

The 2013 White Hawk is considerably more spacious than other ultra-lite travel trailers available and boasts 36-inch deep slide outs, as well as six different floorplans. Families have plenty of options!

Unique features of the 2013 White Hawk travel trailer include the Chill ‘N Store outdoor baggage compartment with a 1.5 cubic foot exterior refrigerator, MaxView dinette window extra light, innovative aerodynamic curved profile and Wide-Stance Tracker Axles for enhanced towability, extra exterior lights for added safety and convenience, a thermal package with a heated and enclosed underbelly and a standard premium exterior paint package.

The kitchen makes cooking in the 2013 White Hawk a breeze with a 6.3 cubic foot Norcold refrigerator with external temperature adjustments and an Atwood high-efficiency oven. The kitchen also features a deep 60/40 acrylic sink with sink covers, decorative backsplash, and recessed halogen lights.

The 2013 White Hawk’s livability qualities include residential style furniture and carpeting, hidden switch command/charging center, ball bearing drawer guides, woodgrain accent wall paneling and dinette table, high efficiency furnace and water heater and central air conditioning with directional and closeable vents. The exterior features radial tires, dark tint safety glass windows, a 4-inch crowned, fully walkable roof, and marine grade exterior speakers.

“The goal for the White Hawk was to provide more for less and we think we met that goal. We’ve built one of the most well-equipped lightweight travel trailers on the market,” said Ben Johnson. To learn more about the new White Hawk travel trailer and watch a video tour, click here.

2013 Motorhome Enhancements

The Greyhawk, Melbourne, and Seneca series motorhomes have been updated and we’re excited to share all the new enhancements with you.

All three models have the option of three décor choices, including a new Midnight option, which fits perfectly with the new Chocolate Chip solid kitchen countertop that comes with an integrated double-bowl sink. For the Greyhawk and Melbourne series, the enhanced Customer Value Package offers a 400 Watt inverter, side view cameras, and a tankless water heater. On the exterior, the Diamond Shield paint protection option is now standard and the motorhomes will all have a keyless touch pad entry lock system that is fully programmable. This offers increased security, convenience, and functionality.

For the Greyhawk series, more interior changes include an increased amount of linoleum in the living area for a slick, clean look as well as a change from cabinet door mirrors to decorative glass. The Greyhawk also contains a wider entry glass shower door which now comes standard.

The Melbourne series now offers a premium paint package standard and we have replaced the manual awning with an electric awning. On the interior, the Melbourne now offers a new lighted battery disconnect switch. Additionally, there is now a larger wallpaper boarder in the kitchen and the refrigerator and cooktop have changed to black.

Last but not least, the Seneca series has an enhanced Customer Value Package that includes an in-motion satellite dish, navigation system, and a 15,000 BTU A/C with heat pump. Former options have become standard in the 2013 Seneca series, including a fireplace, thermal pane windows, and sofa ensemble.

The Redhawk

The affordability and power of this motorhome makes the decision to step into a new class of RVs easier than ever before. It has three floorplans ranging from 26′ to 32′ long with 84” ceilings. Standard equipment for the Redhawk includes a booth dinette with laminate top, a 3-burner range with range hood, an 8-cubic foot refrigerator, and microwave to make your camping experience more enjoyable. The ample living space is tastefully decorated and includes elegant touches such as Washington Glazed Maple cabinetry, pleated night shades throughout and brushed nickel cabinet hardware. 2013 Jayco Redhawk interior

The Redhawk wouldn’t be complete without several family-friendly components including TV hookups with recept and coax, exterior storage compartments for plenty of storage, in-dash radio and an electric slideout making for a more spacious interior room.

Low on price but not on power, the 2013 Redhawk’s standard heavy-duty 6.8 liter Ford Triton®  V10, 305 HP chassis includes a 130-amp alternator, 5,000lb hitch, 55 gallon fuel tank and Hellwig®  helper springs. The aerodynamic front fiberglass cap helps reduce drag, helping to increase gas mileage.

The 2013 Redhawk is the perfect option for those looking to move out of the towable market and enter the motorhome arena.
