January 2, 2007

Three Models Now Available, Including the Greyhawk with Chevy C5500 Kodiak Chassis for Huge Towing Power and Smooth Handling

Jayco®, America’s Most Liveable RVs™ , has extended the Greyhawk motorhome line and now offers seven floorplans in three sizes to suit any lifestyle -- Greyhawk, Greyhawk Sport and the new Greyhawk built on the Chevy C5500 Kodiak gasoline chassis.

Available in two floorplan designs, the new Greyhawk Chevy C5500 Kodiak chassis model allows for the luxury of a spacious, comfortable motorhome with the drive feel of a high-performance car. Currently the standard chassis for the Seneca motorhome line, the gasoline-powered Kodiak provides super-quick acceleration and a surprisingly tight turning radius. With a tow rating of almost 6,500 lbs, it’s easy to pull along toys for adventure.

The new Kodiak Greyhawk comes standard with the Customer Value Package, which includes a Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound system with DVD, back-up camera and monitor, dash kit, night shades, outside grill, remote control mirrors, bathroom power vent, exterior entertainment center, glass shower door and attic fan. The Greyhawk Kodiak model also comes standard with a painted skirt and Kodiak package, which includes high-gloss gel coat sidewalls, hydraulic leveling jacks and slideout topper awnings.

Enhancements to the 2007 Greyhawk include increased entrance door clearance to 80 inches, a new fiberglass front cap, Northridge Maple as the standard interior wood, newly-designed front entertainment center, oil rubbed bronze cabinet hardware and a new booth dinette with an assistance mechanism for height adjustment of the table top. The interior décor is available in three colors: Coffee, Pearl and Jade.

Options include a new electric awning, leather sofa, Provincial Glazed Maple cabinetry, over cab front entertainment center with 24-inch television and 400-Watt inverter. Select models include exterior pass-through storage compartments with increased height of 84 inches, offering ample storage space for large items.

At 25 feet long and the smallest of the Greyhawk plans, the Greyhawk Sport is the perfect motorhome for people who want a high-quality motorhome in a compact style. The Greyhawk Sport’s standard equipment includes solid maple cabinetry and Carefree patio awning.
